Publications
The Fern Gazette is the Society's peer reviewed scientific journal covering all aspects of pteridology worldwide.
The Bulletin is a record of the annual activities of the society, including details of field visits, local group, national and international meetings, alongside officers' reports, AGM minutes and the Society accounts.
The Pteridologist is the Society's popular full colour magazine with articles, accounts and papers on a whole host of fern-related subjects including horticulture, travel, new species and much more.
The Society regularly publishes Special Publications. These are in detail books usually on quite a narrow aspect of pteridology.
For members of the Society we also have regular newsletters, an e-reading circle, spore exchange, plant exchange and calenadar of events.
The best place to start is to contact your local group, they will often have a programme of local events, and they are only too happy to help with identification help and queries.
